Coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that RCB Brandon Browner (groin) may not return this season and is expected to miss at least 4-6 weeks. Browner was injured in Week 10 against the Falcons and has tissue damage in the groin area. Carroll had previously stated that Browner would be out "quite a while," but we now have a clearer picture of what Browner is dealing with. Browner is currently Pro Football Focus' No. 35 corner. His replacement opposite Richard Sherman, Walter Thurmond III, checks in at the No. 23 slot. It sounds like the Seahawks may simply be hoping to get Browner back for the playoffs.

so you're saying Thurmond is a better corner? anyone can make plays with Sherman locking down the #1.
