Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Isaac Redman will start Sunday's game against the Titans.
"We know what Isaac is capable of," Tomlin said Tuesday. The coach went on to say that he'll "obviously" spell Redman with LaRod Stephens-Howling and Felix Jones. Considering Redman averaged just 3.72 YPC last year and couldn't separate from Jonathan Dwyer (who was cut Saturday), fantasy owners need to keep expectations in check. No one should be desperate enough at the FLEX spot already that they need to use a talent deficient plug-and-play like Redman.
First I've seen anything like that but either way, if you've been keeping up with it...you'd know that redman has been a coaching staff favorite the entire time and that he was favored to be the starter if/when bell was out. I just knew that and never once thought about jones being the starter based on that.
I'm in a predicament myself over redman and Austin. Redman starting against a weak titans run d or Austin where romo will be throwing the ball a lot against a weak giants pass d. Especially if Bryant is double teamed. I don't know.

Just yesterday I read that Felix was getting the start. Do these 'experts' ever get it right?

I have never read that Felix was getting the start, it has been Redman the entire time.

"Jones is expected to start the season opener against Tennessee next Sunday after rushing for 56 yards on 14 carries Thursday against Carolina. "

I don't think Miles will get many touches. And he's really fragile--gets hurt every year.
