Clausen came on for the injured Jay Cutler (hamstring) in the second quarter Sunday against the Cardinals, and he completed 14 of 23 passes for 121 yards and an interception.

EDGE Analysis

Cutler was playing very well before throwing a pick six, which happened to be the play when he suffered the injury. Clausen struggled for much of the day, taking two sacks and fumbling, though the Bears recovered it. Bears head coach John Fox would not say after the game if Cutler is expected to miss any time, but if he does, Clausen would start in Week 3 against the Seahawks.
