Chargers signed Malcom Floyd to a three-year contract extension.
Floyd was set to earn $2 million in 2012, and it's unknown if that figure has changed. He was scheduled to hit unrestricted free agency after the season. Floyd has easily been San Diego's top receiver through the first three weeks, catching 13 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown. The Bolts signed Robert Meachem to a four-year deal and slot man Eddie Royal to a three-year contract this past offseason.
Hope the injury bug doesn't bite him soon. I'm sure Phillip River's owners are thinking the same since Floyd has been his only productive receiver thus far.
