Chargers FB Le'Ron McClain is a candidate to be released. McClain is due a non-guaranteed $2.5 million in 2014, the final year of his contract. With the Chargers a bit over the projected salary cap, it should be an easy decision to cut ties with McClain after he played just 12 percent of the offensive snaps this past season. The 29-year-old is still one of the better lead blockers.
