Carroll (leg) has agreed to re-sign with the Eagles on a one-year contract, ESPN reports.

Carroll started the first 11 games of last season before suffering a broken fibula in a Thanksgiving loss to the Lions. He may have to compete for a starting job in 2016, as the Eagles traded away Byron Maxwell but did sign Leodis McKelvin. 2015 second-round selection Eric Rowe also figures to compete for a starting spot on the outside.
