Ginn has decided to retire from the NFL after 14 seasons, Stephen Means of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn ends a successful and lengthy career after playing just six games for the Bears in 2020. At the top of his game, Ginn was one of the best returners in the league while also contributing as a deep threat on offense. Ginn finishes his career with 412 receptions for 5,742 yards and 33 touchdowns along with 6,899 kick return yards, 2,624 punt return yards and seven total return scores (four punt, three kickoff).
lol. Still have not so fond memories when the Dollpins drafted him with a top 10 pick and the then whaterver his name was Coach introduced him to the press. "Ted Ginn Jr is going to be a Dolphin for a long, long time. We drafted him he would be a great special teams return player as well as a receiver" He did not last very long with the Dolphins. Did he?
Dolphins got rid of anyone and everyone for years, it didn't matter if the player was good or not. He certainly was no HoF player but what I did like about him was his ability to carve out 14 years without all the drama, criminal activities and did it with a learning disability. Not too shabby for a track star.
I always enjoyed watching him play. He was always a bit underrated too and I can't help but to wonder what he could of done with someone like a Mahomes or even Herbert throwing him the ball. Guy had a lot of "drops" when playing in Carolina where Cam simply threw the ball out of reach.
Cig don't care so much he clicks on the retirement article, then writes multiple angry internet posts railing about how much he doesn't care. I'm sure if Ginn were to read this he'd be heartbroken that he never made Cig's fantasy team.
Triggered easy, what a snowflake. I was never insulted, I was just noting how bitter you are. It is entertaining, seeing your lack of reading comprehension. One would figure desk jockeys would be a little smarter than that.
You commented on a retirement post and decided to throw in that you've never drafted Ginn before and don't care about him. When other people mentioned that you contradicted yourself, you insulted them based upon their username and grammar. You are a bitter individual who has a problem with everything around you. Childish behavior.

He kept defenses honest, no doubt.

14 years and hardly a scratch. Dude had a great career.
86METSFri 7/16/21 6:43 PM
dude was fast
joegibbskins07Fri 7/16/21 7:29 PM
14 years, he did well for himself.
NotoriousCigFri 7/16/21 10:56 PM
Never drafted him ever. In any league.
joegibbskins07Sat 7/17/21 6:47 AM
Does not change the fact that he managed a 14 year career and a SB appearance. Most kids struggle to make it 5 years.
NotoriousCigSat 7/17/21 10:18 AM
Who cares. He is a Multimillionaire living a fairy tale life.
I'm a 9-5er.
Could care less if he retires, keeps playing, or goes on to become horseshoe champion. You act like you're a family member.

joegibbskins07Sun 7/18/21 8:54 AM
Nope. All good.
NotoriousCigSun 7/18/21 10:05 AM
Yup. All good.
Joe Gibbs' son reallllllly expressed himself.
For 3 more cents he can grab a cup of coffee for all that was worth to me.
BTW, Bhawks was talking to me, he just forgot to put the comma after "talk to"
Vitual grade school not working, Joey Jr ?
Steelpens79Sun 7/18/21 10:56 AM
He played on a lot of playoff teams.
NotoriousCigSun 7/18/21 11:00 AM
Like taking candy from a baby.
All the "go with the majority " front-runners checking in on this.
I woke ya'all up , as Joe Gibbs would say.
Let's go racing, boys !
86METSSun 7/18/21 2:41 PM
I don't even know what I just read
NotoriousCigSun 7/18/21 3:40 PM
Lol.
Joe Gibbs' son is trying to get smart, when all I did was voice my opinion.
He got insulted for some reason.
The rest just jumped on...like rooting for the Patriots when you're in a different city. Follow the leader.

86METSSun 7/18/21 5:45 PM
I didn't know Ted Ginn's retirement could lead to such anger from the Cig man
NotoriousCigSun 7/18/21 5:50 PM
No Anger, Follower. It was an opinion.
But then again, Mets fans need any bandwagon to jump on.
