Cadet has been with the Saints in each of the last two seasons, and is coming off a 2016 campaign where he pulled in 40 receptions for 281 yards and four touchdowns. He operates mostly in the backfield during obvious passing situations, evidenced by the aforementioned 40 receptions from last season. He's also a special teams contributor as a potential returner and spends some time in the slot as well, so he gives the Saints versatility that would be tough to find on the open free agent market. The terms of the deal have yet to be released.
