Bucs GM Mark Dominik says he's "not in a hurry" to get a new deal done with Josh Freeman.
"I'm not in a hurry as general manager of the football team. I've talked to his representation. No one's in a hurry to push anything through because he wants to maximize his ability and we want to make sure with everything that's going on," said Dominik. Freeman will play out the final year of his rookie deal in 2013, then both sides will get together to determine whether to move in a different direction. Tampa Bay is expected to add a quality quarterback to at least push Freeman this offseason.
