Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak did not commit to Manning (foot/ribs) when asked Monday if the veteran signal-caller will get his starting job back when/if he is healthy, Mike Klis of 9News reports
EDGE Analysis
Kubiak ruled Manning out for Sunday's game against the Patriots, also saying that the team will evaluate its quarterback situation on a week-to-week basis. Manning is clearly in danger of missing time beyond Week 12, and he is visiting with orthopedic foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This sounds like Kubiak's revenge against Peyton for buggywhipping his teams over the years...cannot believe he will deprive fans of another Brady-Peyton showdown. Denver fans would not have to worry about Peyton not giving his best effort then, so if he boloed, management would have its answer about who to start the rest of the year. He surely doesn't want his clipboard and Gatoraid boy of the last 2 1/2 years leading the Broncs to the Super Bowl and him warming the pine! Unless he has an injury that is more serious than has been reported.

Sounds awful, but if nothing's on the wire, look at the rosters in your league, see if anyone has more QBs than needed and/or needs help at a position you can deal a player or draft choice for.

Never a need to pack it in, unless you play in a league where everyone else is a real jerk or likely to be hurt if your 9-2 team is given new life (you can't blame an owner for that unless you play in a Mom and Pop league).
