Brandon Jacobs turned back the clock in New York's Week 6 loss to the Bears, rushing 22 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns. The 265-pound "running back" also added a catch for eight yards. Taking advantage of the Giants' first competent run-blocking performance of the season, Jacobs was dishing out pain all night, going as far as to knock Bears MLB D.J. Williams out of the game with a chest injury. Jacobs moved slowly, but deliberately, fighting hard for extra yards. He dragged 4-5 defenders with him on his four-yard score in the first quarter. However, he also suffered some pain of his own, injuring his left thigh late in the game. He played through the injury, and now has 10 days to get healthy for Week 7. With David Wilson (neck) out indefinitely and Da'Rel Scott playing very little this evening, Jacobs will be the G-Men's feature back against the Vikings. Just don't expect a repeat performance. We'd be shocked if tonight wasn't a fluke. Nevertheless, Jacobs' role locks him in as an RB3.
