Brandon Jacobs says he wants to play another three years in the NFL. Jacobs, who was garnered more headlines off the field lately than on it lately, said Tuesday "you're going to see a change" in him. "Not everybody likes their job," Jacobs said his wife told him. "The guy that works at Verizon doesn't want to go in every day, but he sucks it up and sells his cell phones. So you've got to do what you've got to do." Jacobs is making $2.9 million in base salary this season as Ahmad Bradshaw's caddy. If he plays another three years in the NFL, it likely won't be with the Giants.

Is this guy serious? Wait a minute, let me break out my violin for him, because that's one of the saddest stories I think I've ever heard

I love how these NFL players were saying not to compare them to regular people with jobs during the lockout, yet when a situation like this comes up, Jacobs has the nerve to say "everyone hates their job sometimes" and compares himself to a Verizon employee. I wish I could suck at my job and still get paid, and make millions while doing it. He's been a b@$%h ever since Ahmad Bradshaw proved he was better and more durable. Oh yeah, Bradshaw isn't afraid to take a hit once in awhile either, despite being 2/3 the size of Jacobs.
