Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 8 game against the Eagles. Jacobs pulled his hamstring back on October 10 and his 31-year-old body has predictably been slow to recover. The Giants have a bye in Week 9 and then Andre Brown (leg) could be back, making Jacobs a poor hold. Peyton Hillis is a desperation flex play Sunday, while Michael Cox will mix in on early downs.
