Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) expects to return following the Giants' Week 9 bye.
Speaking Monday, Jacobs said he could have played in Sunday's win over the Eagles, but "decided to be cautious." It was the right move for a 31-year-old veteran, but Jacobs' role going forward is up in the air. Peyton Hillis has done a decent Jacobs impression during his absence, and the Giants are tentatively expecting Andre Brown (broken leg) back for Week 10. The time to sell Jacobs is now.
lol, *sell* Jacobs for what? Who in their right mind would give anything of value for a guy who had one decent game, got injured, hasn't played the last two games because of it and is heading into his bye week with the prospect of entering a very crowded an unproductive backfield two weeks from now. I think you meant "The time to *drop* Jacobs is now". The time to sell passed two weeks ago.
