Branch signed with the Patriots on Wednesday, ESPN.com reports. The move was expected, but not finalized until Wednesday, with linebacker Deontae Skinner released in a corresponding move. The addition of Branch bolsters the interior of the Patriots' defensive line, which also features the likes of Vince Wilfork, Casey Walker and Chris Jones.
