Bradshaw pleaded no contest and paid a $351 fine to settle a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession in Preble County, Ohio, the Associated Press reports. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said that Bradshaw's case will be reviewed "under our policies." It's not clear if Bradshaw will face a suspension since his status in the league's drug program is unknown. Bradshaw was effective in the Indianapolis offense last season and took over as the starting running back before missing six games with a fractured fibula. It was the second consecutive season he looked like an impact player with the Colts only to suffer a season-ending injury. He's missed 21 games the last three seasons due to injuries, but some team will likely take a chance on him given his production last year when healthy.

Misdemeanor possession? Using the "Goodell Slide Rule of Appropriate Punishments" (Patent Pending), he should be suspended for 20 games, thus making his injury history rather irrelevant.

He should have assaulted the arresting officers, then he may receive a less harsh suspension from the league.
