Bills GM Buddy nix considers tight end a position of need. Tight end would have been a need even before Scott Chandler tore his ACL, but became a bigger issue after Chandler went down in Week 16. Chandler is doubtful to be ready for Week 1, and is a strong candidate for the reserve/PUP list. Chandler is a workmanlike player with a nose for the end zone, but was already limited athletically before tearing up his knee. Due $2.35 million between salary and bonuses, his roster spot isn't assured.
