Ben Tate (hamstring) was held out of practice Thursday after getting in a limited session on Wednesday.
Coach Gary Kubiak said Tate did not have a setback, but was sore after returning to practice. The Texans opted to hold him out for a day to rest the hamstring. Expect Tate to return for Friday's practice.
