Thomas (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Thursday ahead of Sunday's game at Arizona, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

It's a step in the right direction toward playing in Week 2 after Thomas missed practice entirely Wednesday. He'll still probably need to practice in full Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into Sunday's matchup at the Cardinals, though.
