Hufanga (ankle) was a limited participant at the 49ers' practice Wednesday.

Hufanga suffered an ankle injury at practice late last week and was ultimately forced to miss the team's 30-13 win over the Patriots. His ability to practice Wednesday is a step in the right direction and he'll look to increase his activity prior to Friday's final injury report.
