Asiata had six carries for 24 rushing yards and one catch on two targets for 13 receiving yards Sunday against the Bills. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said earlier in the week that he wanted to even out Asiata and Jerick McKinnon's carries after the former had just two last week to the latter's 11. While Asiata's carry-count tripled, McKinnon's increased as well, with the rookie rumbling for 103 yards on 19 carries against the Bills. Asiata seems to have lost his starting job completely, and while he is still expected to get the touches near the goal-line, the Vikings' offense hasn't gotten many opportunities from in close lately.
