Andy Dalton completed just 26-of-42 passes for 299 yards, one touchdown, and an interception as the Bengals fell to the Broncos in Week 9. He scrambled twice for 16 yards. Dalton has a lot of problems right now. His offensive line can't pass protect against athletic defensive fronts, and his arm-strength limitations are holding back the Bengals' passing offense when they can't 1) Get the ball to A.J. Green, or 2) Find an opening on a broken play after the protection breaks down. Dalton's pace stats (28:22 TD-to-INT ratio, 4,260 passing yards) don't look bad on paper, but they are likely to come down during the stretch run for a second straight year. Dalton is a mid-range QB2 when the Giants come to town in Week 10.
