Although several teams were reportedly interested in former Eagles QB Mike Kafka after his Friday release, he passed through waivers unclaimed. It now seems clear that Kafka's agent was the source for the report that the Chiefs, Patriots, Packers, and Browns all had interest in the 2010 fourth-round pick. Kafka, like Brian Hoyer, figures to latch on with a team as a backup before or just after the season starts. They're both unrestricted free agents.
