Alex Mack told reporters Saturday that the Browns have not yet approached him about a contract extension.

"At this point in camp, I'm here to work on football," Mack said. "All of that stuff is going to be handled by agents and upstairs people. My goal is to not let that distract me." One of the best run-blockers in the league, Mack has rated as a top-ten center by Pro Football Focus in each of his first four seasons. The Cleveland Plain Dealer believes it's "hard to imagine" the Browns not extending Mack, but his asking price remains to be seen. Mack doesn't play a premium position and is likely going to be expensive to re-sign. He's already making $3.73 million in the final year of his rookie deal.
