According to the Sacramento Bee, Marcus Lattimore (knee surgeries, hamstring) looks "noticeably better and more explosive than he did two weeks ago." Lattimore is at least making progress as he tried to carve out a role. By showing some burst, he gives himself a chance to be in the conversation behind Frank Gore. However, he has a steep hill to climb as Carlos Hyde is penciled in as the early-down backup and Kendall Hunter is the change-of-pace option. Lattimore is well off the re-draft radar until we see him near 100 percent.
