A source tells ProFootballTalk an appeal hearing on Josh Gordon's suspension has been scheduled for late July. Gordon reportedly faces a minimum one-year ban as a Stage 3 violator of the league's substance abuse policy. The hearing could be canceled if the NFL and NFLPA work out a deal to reduce the suspension. Nearing two months since the Gordon suspension saga began, it appears an end may finally be in sight.

wonder how long the appeal hearing will take. are decisions generally handed down immediately following the hearing?
