A source tells ESPN that Malcom Floyd (knee) won't return until Week 1 at the earliest. A Monday night MRI brought good news as Floyd avoided a ligament tear. But he's not out of the woods yet as a severe sprain could sideline him for a month or more. It's looking more and more like the Chargers are going to be forced to roll with Vincent Brown, rookie Keenan Allen and slot man Eddie Royal as their top-three wideouts come Week 1. They lost difference-maker Danario Alexander to an ACL tear last week. With a declining Philip Rivers, a leaky offensive line and a lack of weapons, this Chargers' passing game has the potential to be very bad.
