The San Francisco 49ers promoted running back Jeremy McNichols from the practice squad to the active roster and placed running back Raheem Mostert (back) on Injured Reserve in a corresponding move. McNichols managed to run for 1,709 yards at Boise State in 2016 and also caught 37 passes for 474 yards. He was drafted by the Buccaneers in the fifth round.
