49ers coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed Friday Michael Crabtree will make his season debut Sunday against St. Louis. Crabtree is expected to be on a strict snap count, not just because of the Achilles' injury but because he's not yet in football shape. It's hard to imagine Crabtree playing more than 20 snaps against the Rams. There is an outside chance that Crabtree could be a full-time receiver by Week 15 or so. Fantasy owners should be hoping he's a contributor by Week 16 against the Falcons.

Garcon. Give Crabtree a couple weeks. It would be nice to be able to be confident in him for week 16.

The Achilles is a REALLY tough injury to come back from. I want aware that he wasn't in "football shape" b4 I picked him up, but I'm just throwing sh% t at the wall. Doubt I'll start him unless he has a great game first. Anyone who inserts him in their lineup this week is desperate, and looking for disappointment.
