Smith (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Smith isn't injured but the Bengals are leaving him off Saturday's game-day roster while rolling with Tanner Hudson, Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox at tight end. Smith has just 18 catches for 115 yards and one touchdown in 12 appearances for Cincinnati.

Smith had two catches for 18 yards on three targets against the Vikings, his former employer.
EDGE Analysis
There was no revenge-game narrative here with Smith, who saw fewer snaps than both Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson.

Smith failed to draw a single target in Sunday's 34-14 win over the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Smith played just eight of the Bengals 60 offensive snaps Sunday, behind fellow tight ends Drew Sample (40), Mitchell Wilcox (22) and Tanner Hudson (14). The veteran's 12 percent snap share was his lowest of the season, and he was held without a target for the second straight week. Smith remains far off the fantasy radar as the Bengals are set to host the Vikings in Week 15.

Smith secured both of his targets for eight yards in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Smith played just 16 offensive snaps Sunday, his lowest total of the season. The veteran tight end finds himself splitting snaps with Tanner Hudson, Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox, so his opportunities to produce on offense are limited. Hudson appears to have emerged as the preferred pass catcher of the bunch, as he earned 21 targets over the past four games. Smith can safely be left out of fantasy lineups when the Bengals visit the Jaguars in Week 13.

Smith had just one target and zero catches in Thursday's loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
With Tanner Hudson taking on a bigger role, Smith's snap share was under 40 percent for the third consecutive week. The Bengals' tight end position is now a three-headed monster between Smith, Hudson and Drew Sample.

Smith secured his only target for six yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Smith's underwhelming performance came on a day in which fellow tight end Tanner Hudson saw a season-high seven targets in the contest. The 25-year-old Smith has been a disappointment for much of the 2023 campaign, totaling just 14 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown over seven games. In addition, the veteran is splitting tight end snaps relatively evenly with Hudson and Drew Sample. Smith should remain difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Bengals visit the Ravens on Thursday.

Smith had three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
The Bengals gave their tight ends more targets collectively, even though that only translated into four targets for Smith. The Bengals face the Texans next, and they gave up two touchdown receptions to Cade Otton last week. Perhaps that will encourage the Bengals to incorporate Smith and the other tight ends heavily again this week.

Smith had four catches for 25 yards in Sunday's over the Niners, but lost a fumble just before halftime that cost the Bengals a chance to go up two scores.
EDGE Analysis
It was thought before the season that Smith could provide a reasonable facsimile of what Hayden Hurst did for the Bengals, but so far he's come up short of that. The four catches and the 25 yards were season highs for Smith.

Smith caught one of his two targets for five yards in Sunday's 17-13 win over the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Smith had another quiet day, despite playing 61 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps. The veteran tight end has done little to prove he can be a reliable fantasy option, totaling just six catches for 32 yards in the four games he's played this season. Smith will remain largely off the fantasy radar as the Bengals head into a Week 7 bye.

Smith failed to draw a single target in Sunday's 34-20 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Smith was a complete non-factor Sunday despite playing 61 percent of the Bengals' offensive snaps. The veteran tight end missed Weeks 3 and 4 due to a hamstring injury, and he wasn't a part of Cincinnati's game plan in his return while star wideout Ja'Marr Chase earned 19 targets in the contest. In the three games he's played this season, Smith has totaled just five catches for 27 yards.
