The Cardinals will allow Momah (ankle) to become an unrestricted free agent, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals unsurprisingly didn't want to use a restricted free agent tender, which would've cost around $1.9 million at the lowest level. Momah reportedly is making good progress in his rehab from a broken leg, ramping his activity up to include running in recent weeks. He only has three catches in 14 career games, but Arizona might consider bringing him back at a lower price to compete for a spot at the bottom of the depth chart.

Momah (ankle) was officially placed on injured reserve by the Cardinals on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals have deemed the injury a "cracked ankle" and as a "broken leg" since Momah sustained the injury in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks, but his 2017 has come to a close regardless. Ricky Seals-Jones will step in as the No. 3 tight end for Arizona unless the team opts to bring in a free agent.

Momah suffered a broken leg in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks and is out for the season.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Bruce Arians indicated post-game Thursday that Momah had suffered a "cracked ankle", but the team designated it as a broken leg on Friday. Regardless, the 28-year-old will not play again this season and should find himself on injured reserve shortly. Ricky Seals-Jones will likely step in as third tight end for the Cardinals, unless they decide to test the available free agent options.

Coach Bruce Arians reported that Momah suffered a "cracked ankle" in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Momah went down with the ankle injury in the third quarter and was unable to return to the game. Arians suggested that his injury is quite serious and could land the third-year tight end on the injured reserve list. An official announcement with regards to his future availability should become available in the next day or two.

Momah (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals suffered several injuries Thursday night, including Tyvon Branch (knee) and D.J. Humphries (knee). Look for Jermaine Gresham and Troy Niklas to see all tight end reps for the remainder of the contest.

Momah is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Seahawks after suffering an ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Momah was shaken up late in the third quarter and was taken back to locker room to seek further evaluation. The Cardinals will have to rely on Jermaine Gresham and Troy Niklas at tight end should Momah not return to the contest.

Momah will start Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Momah is getting the nod at tight end with Jermaine Gresham (ribs) absent and Troy Niklas hampered by a hip injury. Granted, Niklas is available, but head coach Bruce Arians will role with the healthy body in the top unit.

Momah (wrist) has been a participant during training camp, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
In particular, Momah hauled in a touchdown catch on fourth and 10 during a situational period at Friday's practice, albeit as part of the third-team offense. Fortunately for the tight end, he appears to be past the broken wrist that forced him to injured reserve last season. With his focus on landing perhaps one spot on the roster behind top options Jermaine Gresham and Troy Niklas, the latter's injury history could result in a significant snap count in 2017 for Momah, assuming he locks down the No. 3 role.

Momah (wrist) will have a chance to be one of Arizona's top tight ends in 2017, Jim Koch of Raising Zona reports.
EDGE Analysis
Momah saw each of his last two seasons cut short due to injury. A torn ACL in 2015 and a broken wrist in 2016 led to two straight years on IR. His contract with Arizona runs through 2018 and he'll have a chance to earn a role as one of the team's top tight end options. He's expected to be a full go in time for spring practices after being shut down for the season back in November.

Momah (wrist) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Momah suffered a broken wrist in Sunday's loss to the Panthers that ultimately will end his season after five games. In five games, he recorded two receptions for 50 yards as the Cardinals fourth-string tight end. He is expected to come to an injury settlement with the team.
