Bryant (hip) will not participate at practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant played 25 offensive snaps in Sunday's win versus San Francisco, and it's not clear when he picked up the injury. Cleveland's injury reports Thursday and Friday will provide more context regarding his potential availability for Week 7.

Bryant caught his lone target for two yards and had one rushing attempt for two yards in Sunday's 28-3 loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant played a season-low 12 snaps, fewer than third-string tight end Jordan Akins, but usage patterns were skewed due to the blowout nature of the game and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson being under center instead of Deshaun Watson (shoulder). Bryant should still be viewed as the top backup to starter David Njoku. Interestingly, the Browns dialed up a run for Bryant, the second straight week the tight end has been used a runner since Nick Chubb was lost to a season-ending knee injury. The Browns are off in Week 5.

Bryant was not targeted but had two carries for four yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland's first game without running back Nick Chubb (knee) provided rushing opportunities for unlikely players, as Bryant and wide receiver Marquise Goodwin each saw carries. Bryant had 25 snaps, once again fitting in between David Njoku (52) and Jordan Akins (13) on the tight end depth chart.

Bryant did not catch either of two targets in Monday's 26-22 loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant was involved in the Browns' ominous first play of the game. Quarterback Deshaun Watson's throw was catchable, if slightly off target, but Bryant couldn't secure the ball, which deflected into the hands of Steelers linebacker Alex Highsmith who returned it for a touchdown. Bryant (27 snaps) once again had more run than Jordan Akins (nine) and is firmly established as the backup to starter David Njoku. Bryant's been targeted twice in each of the first two games.

Bryant caught both of his targets for five yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Bengals in Week 1.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant caught quarterback Deshaun Watson's only touchdown pass, a surprising result given the offseason additions to the wideout corps and the presumed focus on a downfield approach to the passing game. Bryant's 27 offensive snaps were second among Browns' tight ends behind David Njoku's 52 and ahead of Jordan Akins' 23. Speculation during the preseason focused on Akins' history with Watson in Houston, but it was Bryant, in his fourth season with Cleveland, who emerged with more targets and time on the field.

Bryant (medical condition) returned to practice Tuesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant missed the last few weeks due to a non-football health issue, but it was encouraging to see him back in action Tuesday. The 2020 fourth-rounder will now have a week and a half to work with the team during practice before the Browns' regular-season opener against the Bengals on Sept. 10.

Bryant (medical condition) will not play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Chiefs, Doc Louallen of the Browns' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant hasn't played in preseason games but has been working diligently at practice on the side with trainers. Jordan Akins has been the primary backup to starting tight end David Njoku and would be considered second on the depth chart even if Bryant was available.

Bryant (undisclosed) is expected to return "pretty soon," Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant has been battling a non-football health issue. The tight end has spent some time on the sidelines during practices, but there's optimism that he'll soon join his teammates on the practice field and resume football activities.

Bryant has been held out of recent practices due to a non-football health issue, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant, who did not play in Friday's preseason game against Washington, has been running and working with trainers on the side during and after practice. That's a sign that he could be cleared to return this week.

Bryant had his most active day as a receiver in training camp during Saturday's practice, Anthony Poisal of the Browns' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant's been active every day in camp but was extra involved as a receiver due to Jordan Akins being sidelined by a knee injury. His best effort was a sliding catch for 30 yards during a 7-on-7 drill. Bryant is slated to serve as the team's third tight end if Akins is healthy.
