Landry suffered his hamstring injury at some point over the last week and the severity of the injury is uncertain. Expect the outside linebacker to see a large role if he is able to suit up against the Saints in Week 10.

Landry had five tackles (four solo), a sack and a forced fumble during Sunday's 34-31 win over Indianapolis.

EDGE Analysis

Landry now has at least a half-sack in six straight games, and there's only one contest this year in which he didn't bring down the opposing quarterback. The 25-year-old is tied for second in the NFL with 8.5 sacks and also had 42 tackles and one forced fumbles. He's only a half-sack away from tying his career high.

Landry posted seven tackles (five solo) and two sacks during Sunday's 37-19 win over the Jaguars.

EDGE Analysis

Landry has 4.5 sacks through five games in the 2021 campaign and is on pace to top his total of 5.5 last season. However, he faces a much tougher test in Week 6, when the Titans face Josh Allen and the Bills' explosive offense.

Landry paced the team with seven tackles, but he more importantly was a disruptive force for the defense. He stuffed Michael Carter behind the line of scrimmage on two separate occasions and also sacked Zach Wilson for an eight-yard loss. Landry has remained on the field for over 90 percent of the Titans' defensive snaps in each of the last three contests, recording seven tackles on two occasions.

EDGE Analysis

Landry was on the field for 94 percent of the team's defensive snaps and also saw a few plays on special teams. He led the team in tackles, though a trio of players tallied six stops. Landry has gotten off to a strong start this season, logging 10 tackles and a sack through two contests.

Landry recorded three tackles and one sack in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

Landry tallied one of the of the Titans' two sacks on the day, forcing Kyler Murray out of bounds for a two-yard loss. He was also busy covering Chase Edmonds as a receiver out of the backfield and was able to make a few tackles close to the line of scrimmage. Landry should continue to play a key role in the Titans' defense as the team heads into a Week 2 matchup against the Seahawks.

Landry spent a little over a week on the list but has cleared protocol well ahead of the regular season. He's set to handle a starting outside linebacker spot for the Titans in the opener after recording 69 tackles (46.0 solo) and 5.5 sacks last season.

Landry will need to fully clear the league's protocols for COVID-19 before being eligible to return to team facilities. The 2018 second-round pick led the Titans with just 5.5 sacks last season, down from nine sacks in 2019.

Though the Titans' pass rush struggled for much of the season, Landry led the team with his 5.5 sacks. That was down from his 2019 total, though he also managed to make a bigger impact in coverage than prior seasons. Landry will be entering the final year of his rookie contract for the 2021 season and should be one of the team's best pass-rushers once again.
