Smith completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 174 yards, one touchdown and one interception while losing three yards on four carries in Sunday's 20-10 win over Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
Smith got the Raiders back in the win column after a recent poor string of play had critics calling for a quarterback change in Las Vegas. The veteran signal-caller appears to have staved off a potential QB controversy with improved play against a struggling Titans squad Sunday. The 34-year-old still couldn't pitch a clean outing, throwing his 10th interception of campaign early in the fourth quarter. The late turnover didn't cost his team a chance at victory, meaning Smith should remain under center for a tough road matchup against the Chiefs next Sunday.

Smith will remain the Raiders' starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Titans after Las Vegas had "no serious discussion" about benching the signal-caller following the team's four-game losing streak, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Much of the team's struggles over the past four games have fallen on Smith's shoulders, as the veteran quarterback has thrown eight interceptions and has taken 12 sacks over that stretch. Poor offensive line play hasn't helped Smith, and he'll be further handicapped Sunday by the continued absence of star tight end Brock Bowers (knee), who is set to miss a second straight game. Though the Raiders aren't yet prepared to turn the offense over to backup Kenny Pickett, the idea of a change under center could gain some momentum if Smith is unable to deliver a clean outing against the Titans, who rank in the bottom 10 of the league in both yards and points allowed per game.

Smith completed 25 of 36 passes for 228 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions while adding three carries for eight yards in the Raiders' 40-6 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The left half of Smith's stat line looked perfectly acceptable, but the two picks, four sacks and quarterback rating of 18.9 that comprise the rest of his numbers all underscore how difficult the afternoon was. The Raiders' day actually started off in encouraging fashion via a marathon 16-play, 80-yard drive that consumed 9:50 of the first quarter, but that ultimately culminated in a field goal. The next five possessions would feature a blocked punt, both of Smith's interceptions, a punt and a missed field goal, helping dig Las Vegas into a hole it couldn't recover from. Smith has now thrown nine interceptions over his first five games at the helm of the Raiders' offense, including three contests in which he's tossed multiple picks. Nevertheless, Smith will continue under center, potentially without Brock Bowers (knee) once again, when the Raiders welcome in the Titans for a favorable Week 6 home clash.

Smith completed 14 of 21 pass attempts for 117 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 31 rushing yards on four attempts in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Smith threw an interception in each of the first three quarters that ultimately helped the Bears mount a comeback victory in the fourth. The veteran signal-caller was coming off of a mistake-free, three-touchdown performance in Week 3, but he sandwiched that showing with a pair of three-interception outings. Smith has become frustrating to project through four starts with Las Vegas, making him a risky play against a tough Indianapolis defense next Sunday.

Smith completed 19 of 29 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders. He added five rushing yards on two carries.
EDGE Analysis
All three TDs went to Tre Tucker, as the duo connected on 10-yard scores in the second and fourth quarters before Smith found his speedy wideout for a 61-yard strike late in the game as the Raiders tried to mount a comeback. It was a strong bounce-back performance from Smith after he got picked off three times by the Chargers in Week 2, but the result was the same for Las Vegas. Smith will try to guide his team back into the win column in Week 4 against an injury-ravaged Bears defense.

Smith completed 24 of 43 pass attempts for 180 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions while rushing five times for 20 yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
This outing was doomed from the get go when Smith threw the first of three interceptions on the first play from scrimmage. The 34-year-old had no answers after netting just 45 yards of offense through the first half of action Monday. This putrid showing comes on the heels of Smith airing it out for 362 yards in a Week 1 win over the Patriots, highlighting the peaks and valleys that come with a quarterback who threw 21 TDs to 15 INTs with Seattle last season. The Raiders will be counting on a bounce-back performance from its veteran signal-caller in a softer matchup against Washington in Week 3.

Smith completed 24 of 34 passes for 362 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding two rushes for 10 yards in the Raiders' 20-13 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran signal-caller looked right at home in a Raiders uniform from the opening possession, which he capped off with perfect 26-yard scoring strike to Tre Tucker. While that would be Smith's only touchdown toss of the game, he would pile up a fantasy-friendly yardage total by connecting with seven different pass catchers, including a trio of rookies in Dont'e Thornton, Jack Bech and Ashton Jeanty. Smith also displayed excellent chemistry with star tight end Brock Bowers, but the latter notably exited the game in the second half with a knee injury. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports Bowers downplayed the injury after the contest and stated he wanted to return to the game, so Smith appears to have a good chance of having access to his top target for a Week 2 AFC West home showdown against the Chargers on Monday night, Sept. 15.

Smith completed two of three passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Smith wrapped up his preseason by cashing in on the Raiders' opening drive, one where he recorded nine- and 17-yard completions to Michael Mayer and Dont'e Thornton, respectively, with the latter throw going for a touchdown. Smith also had a 10-yard completion to Thornton on third down erased from the books thanks to Las Vegas accepting a pass interference penalty, making it an encouraging night overall for the veteran signal-caller. Smith's primary backup Aidan O'Connell notably exited with a wrist injury later in Saturday's game, so Smith could be set to be backed up by rookie sixth-round pick Cam Miller for a Week 1 road matchup against the Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 7.

Smith went 6-for-8 for 55 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Saturday's preseason defeat against San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
Smith played just one drive in Las Vegas' preseason opener against the Seahawks on Aug. 7, but he doubled that amount Saturday, playing into the early part of the second quarter. The veteran QB led his team to two scores -- a 41-yard Daniel Carlson field goal and a one-yard Ashton Jeanty touchdown. Notably, Smith connected on a 28-yard pass play with Brock Bowers on the Raiders' first offensive snap, perhaps signaling strong chemistry between the quarterback and his top option through the air. Smith isn't the flashiest of signal-callers, but he represents a significant upgrade at the position for Las Vegas after the team made do with a combination of Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell under center last year.

Coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Smith and the starters are "gonna play quite a bit" in Seattle's second preseason game against the 49ers on Aug. 16, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith played only one drive in Vegas' first preseason game Thursday, which finished in a 23-23 tie against the Seahawks. It sounds like he'll have a more extended opportunity to work alongside Vegas' top pass catchers, including Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers, in the team's second preseason game.
