Barnidge (forearm) turned five targets into three catches for 59 yards in Sunday's 28-26 loss to the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Barnidge looked primed for a big game after hauling in a 43-yard reception on Cleveland's first offensive play, but managed just 16 more yards the rest of the afternoon. The tight end's numbers were disappointing given that the Browns aired it out 42 times, and he still hasn't found the end zone this season after scoring nine times in his breakout 2015 campaign. On the bright side, the 31-year-old tight end has topped 50 receiving yards in four straight games and is an integral part of the offensive game plan week in and week out.

Barnidge (forearm) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Barnidge logged three straight limited practices this week, but that was never expected to hold him out of Sunday's road matchup. Through five weeks, the tight end is tied with Duke Johnson for second on the team in targets (28), but has yet to find the end zone on the year. Barnidge will look to turn that around Sunday with Cody Kessler at the helm, but will continue to patiently await the return of Josh McCown (collarbone), the quarterback primarily responsible for his 1,000-yard campaign in 2015.

Barnidge (forearm) is expected to play Sunday against the Titans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a few limited practices this week, there weren't any indications that Barnidge was seriously in jeopardy of missing the game, even with a questionable tag. He is starting to develop better chemistry with quarterback Cody Kessler, with at least six targets in each of the last three games.

Barnidge (hip/forearm) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Tennessee, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
There hasn't been any suggestion that either of Barnidge's injuries is serious, and he practiced on a limited basis both Wednesday and Thursday. Furthermore, the Browns haven't added a tight end to the roster, even though reserves Randall Telfer (ankle) and Seth DeValve (knee) have both been ruled out, leaving Connor Hamlett as the team's lone healthy player at the position. If Barnidge is truly in danger of missing Sunday's game, the team will need to sign another tight end in short order. Barnidge has recovered from a slow start and developed chemistry with Cody Kessler (chest/ribs), recording at least five catches, six targets and 57 receiving yards in each of the last three games.

Barnidge (forearm/hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barnidge injured his ankle in Week 5, but the Browns' injury report indicates he's dealing with both a forearm and hip issue. His limited participation in practice suggests it's not anything serious, but it's something to keep an eye on as the week continues. Connor Hamlett would take over starting tight end duties should Barnidge miss Sunday's game.

Barnidge secured five of eight targets for 76 yards versus the Patriots on Sunday, but needed X-rays taken on his right ankle after the game, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The details surrounding his injury are unclear, but Barnidge did need to have his ankle taped during the game. However, acknowledging all available information, Barnidge doesn't appear to have suffered anything serious. In fact, his outlook moving forward may be more contingent upon the status of QB Cody Kessler (ribs), who is now the third Cleveland quarterback to be sidelined this season.

Barnidge caught all seven of his targets for 57 yards in Sunday's matchup with the Redskins.
EDGE Analysis
Barnidge led the Browns with 57 receiving yards Sunday, and although he has yet to find the end zone, his past few performances have been encouraging. Over his last two games, the 31-year-old tight end has 12 receptions for 123 yards, as he's developed a nice relationship with Cody Kessler. With Corey Coleman (hand) out for an extended period of time and Josh Gordon (suspension) no longer a part of the team's plans, Barnidge should continue to see his fair share of targets.

Barnidge snagged five of six targets for 66 yards against the Dolphins on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old tight end has seen his targets rise in every week despite the quarterback carousal currently happening in Cleveland. Barnidge had his best day of the season on Sunday, and fantasy owners are hoping this is just the beginning to another huge year. The fact that he was able to catch a season-high five passes with rookie Cody Kessler and wide receiver Terrelle Pryor throwing him the ball is undoubtedly encouraging.

Barnidge secured four passes (five targets) for 37 yards during Sunday's loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Though he wasn't heavily used, Barnidge saw an increase in targets and snaps with Josh McCown (shoulder) at the helm of the offense. The 30-year-old developed a nice relationship with McCown in 2015, and so far that's carried over into this year. McCown, however, is a bit banged up, and if he's unable to go against the Dolphins in Week 3, Cody Kessler will take over, which could negatively affect Barnidge, especially if the Browns ease Kessler in and rely on their running game.

Barnidge could see an uptick in production going forward with Josh McCown set to take over starting quarterback duties for Robert Griffin (shoulder).
EDGE Analysis
Barnidge developed a solid rapport with McCown in 2015, and there's no reason to believe this time around will be any different. In fact, it might be even stronger. McCown may find himself targeting Barnidge more often than receivers Corey Coleman and Terrelle Pryor because of that sound relationship. Regardless, the 30-year-old tight end's lackluster performance in Week 1 should, for the most part, be ignored.
