General manager Tom Telesco said Lamp (knee) is progressing in his recovery but there isn't a timeline for the offensive lineman to return to action, Ricky Henne of the Chargers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lamp is bouncing back from a torn ACL in his right knee and hasn't been held out of practice at times during the team's offseason workout program. While the 2017 second-rounder could possibly open training camp under some restrictions, there at least doesn't seem to be any concern over Lamp's availability for the start of training camp in late July.

Lamp (torn ACL) underwent a minor procedure on his knee this offseason, Steve Wyche of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given the turbulent season that was 2017 for Lamp, any sort of procedure, no matter how small, spells some concern. Coach Anthony Lynn hinted that Lamp could return full health soon, however. As of right now, it looks as if the big fella is partaking in some drills on a limited basis. We'll keep an eye on his development over the next few weeks as he looks to get back on track in 2018.

Lamp (knee) is nearing a full recovery following the torn ACL he suffered last season.
EDGE Analysis
The 2017 second-round pick has already participated in early offseason workouts, suggesting he's at least closing in on 100 percent health. According to coach Anthony Lynn, Lamp is "right on schedule" as far as a complete recovery is concerned. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Lamp looks poised to get 2018 started on the right footing.

Lamp (knee) said Wednesday that he's resumed running and remains in line to take part in offseason workouts with the team, Ricky Henne of the Chargers' official site reports. "I'm feeling really good so far," Lamp said. "I'm five months post [surgery], and coming along really good. The training staff and I have been working Monday through Friday, and we've been starting to run and do things like that."
EDGE Analysis
A second-round pick out of Western Kentucky last April, Lamp was considered a starting candidate for the Chargers before an ACL tear suffered on the third day of padded practices during training camp ended the rookie's season before it even started. Fortunately for Lamp, the timing of his injury and the surgery that followed should put him on track to be a full participant in training camp during the upcoming summer. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound Lamp could again be in the conversation for a starting role at guard.

Lamp (knee) is on track to return for OTAs in the spring, Ricky Henne of the Chargers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2017 second-round pick underwent surgery in August to repair a torn ACL in his right knee, but it looks as if the lineman should be ready to practice heading into the next campaign. Projected as a starting guard prior to the injury, the emergence of Kenny Wiggins will likely make it more difficult for Lamp to find a starting spot along the offensive line.

Lamp (knee) underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee Monday, Eric Williams of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
There is no news to indicate the surgery was anything but a success. Lamp went down during the first week of camp. The second-round pick was expected to grab one of the starting guard roles before sustaining the injury, but he will now wait until next season to make his NFL debut.

Lamp was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his right knee.
EDGE Analysis
This is a tough break for Lamp, who was a projected starter at guard and will now miss his entire rookie season. It's likely only a matter of time before he's placed on injured reserve.

Lamp injured his right left on Wednesday and had to be carted off the field, Eric D. Williams of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lamp was expected to start somewhere along the offensive line, with the rookie taking first team snaps at right guard and left guard to begin camp. More information regarding the severity of the injury should arrive in the coming days, but for now expect to see some combination of Dan Feeney, Donavon Clark and Max Tuerk fill the role.

Lamp began rookie mini camp practicing at right guard, ESPN's Eric D. Williams reports.
EDGE Analysis
Drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Lamp was always expected to have a shot at a starting spot along the offensive line, but many questioned whether he would be better suited to play guard or tackle. It appears the Chargers view Lamp as a right guard, meaning the 23-year-old should get every opportunity to earn a starting role in his rookie season.
