Felix Jones (knees) is active for Thanksgiving against the Redskins. NT Jay Ratliff is inactive. LT Tyron Smith is active, but will only come off the bench in the event of an injury. Jermey Parnell is starting at left tackle. Fragile Felix is active, but nursing soreness in both knees, he's expected to cede snaps and touches to Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner. He's a low-end flex play. Inactive for the Cowboys are RB DeMarco Murray, WR Kevin Ogletree, C Phil Costa, DL Sean Lissemore, CB Vince Agnew and C Ryan Cook.

DallasCowboys.com's Bryan Broaddus expects a "combo platter" in the Cowboys' backfield Thursday. Answering a Twitter question, Broaddus dodged whether he believed Felix Jones (knees) would be active or not, but it's clear he expects a committee approach either way. The second best guess for touches is Lance Dunbar, though Phillip Tanner should also be in for some snaps. We expect Fragile Felix to play, but if you have any sort of alternative in your 12-14 team league, this is the week to use it.

Felix Jones (knees) is officially questionable for Dallas' Thanksgiving tilt with the Redskins. DeMarco Murray (foot) is doubtful. Jones didn't practice this week, but will be a game-time decision for Dallas' annual Turkey Day extravaganza. Even if Jones is active, he's never been able to produce at less than 100 percent, and will cede snaps to Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner. Fragile Felix is a very fragile flex option for Week 12.

Felix Jones (knees) was not spotted at Cowboys practice once again Wednesday. Jones is dealing with soreness in both of his knees and hasn't practiced in either of the last two days. He's shaping up as a true game-time call for Thursday's game against the Redskins. Even if Jones does suit up, he's hard to trust as a player that struggles badly when operating at less than 100 percent. If he's inactive, expect a timeshare between likely starter Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner. Overall, it's a situation for fantasy owners to avoid if possible.

Felix Jones is dealing with soreness in both knees. "He was dealing with a knee going into last week and hurt his other knee in the ballgame," coach Jason Garrett said after Jones missed Tuesday's practice. "It sounds like it's feeling better and better and better and we'll just see what his availability is over the course of the next couple of days." Fragile Felix has yet to miss a game this season, but has gotten progressively more nicked and worn down during DeMarco Murray's (foot) extended absence. A game-time decision for Dallas' Thanksgiving showdown with the Redskins, Jones will be a dicey flex option if he manages to take the field.

Felix Jones (knee) was downgraded to a missed practice on Tuesday after participating on a limited basis Monday. Jones is tentatively expected to start versus the Redskins, but we wouldn't feel confident about placing him in fantasy lineups just yet. Despite undergoing a knee "procedure" of his own on Monday, Lance Dunbar was back at practice splitting first-team reps with Phillip Tanner. DeMarco Murray (foot) is still not practicing and is not expected to play on Thursday.

Felix Jones (knee) was not practicing during the portion of practice open to the media Tuesday. It's not a major cause for alarm yet. Jones got some limited work in Monday and the Cowboys could just be managing his knee ahead of Thursday's game against the Redskins. We'll know more when coach Jason Garrett addresses the media.

Felix Jones (knee) was limited in Monday's practice and will likely start on Thursday against the Redskins. Jones banged his knee in the first half of Sunday's overtime win against the Browns but fought through the injury and played the remainder of the game. DeMarco Murray missed Wednesday's practice and will likely miss another week with his foot injury. Washington sports the No. 7 run defense, and with Jones at less than 100 percent, we don't like him as more than a flex play.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed following Sunday's loss that Felix Jones injured his knee in the first half and played through the injury in the final two quarters. "Saw a lot of heart, saw him running hard," Jerry said. "This is a good sign. Came back out and played, played on that. Knowing Felix, which if anybody can go when it normally would limit, he can go. It wouldn't surprise me to see him ready to go Thursday." Felix finished with 55 total yards and a touchdown. We suspect he'll be fine by Thanksgiving Day's tilt with Washington.

Felix Jones rushed 14 times for 43 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 12 yards as the Cowboys downed the Browns in Week 11. We'll take the double-digit fantasy points, but Jones was ineffective on the ground in this game. The Cowboys lost LT Tyron Smith (ankle) early on, and line issues didn't go away. Jones has been running better in recent games, but he'll not be a major threat to DeMarco Murray's workload upon the starter's return. Jones may fall from RB2 in fantasy to RB4 quickly should Murray's foot recovery progress fast enough for him to face the Redskins on Thanksgiving.
