Jones (illness) is questionable Sunday against the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Jones was unable to practice Friday, but considering he missed due to an illness and not an injury, it's hard to say how much that impacts his ability to hit the field Sunday. Jones is fresh off his biggest contribution of the season and will try to be ready Sunday against the Titans.

Jones notched nine tackles (seven solo), a half-sack, one pass breakup and one interception during Sunday's 38-22 win over the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Jones, a rookie third-round pick, impressed in his first start of the season after primarily contributing on special teams during his first seven appearances. Los Angeles' decision to trade Kenny Young to Denver appeared to indicate confidence in Jones' ability to step into the lineup, and he proved more than capable of making an impact versus Houston. Going forward, the addition of Von Miller (ankle) stands to provide yet another boost for the Rams' linebacker corps.

The Rams selected Jones in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 103rd overall.
EDGE Analysis
Jones is a complete player at inside linebacker and fits well in Los Angeles' 3-4 scheme. The South Carolina product was not only productive with the Gamecocks, but he also proved to be a strong athlete as his pro day. Jone racked up 97 tackles in 12 games as a sophomore and averaged just under 10.0 tackles per game in 2020. He turned in a 4.71 in the 40-yard dash and added a 38.5-inch vertical jump. With Los Angeles' defensive line as stout as it is, Jones will be freed up to find the ball carrier provided he can work his way onto the field over the established starters.
