Ebron (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron was limited by an ankle injury throughout practice this week, which perhaps explains why he's gone for his lowest yardage totals of the season in Detroit's past two games. While the tight end could continue to play Sunday versus the Bears, Clay Harbor and Matthew Mulligan will likely be prepared for expanded roles if Ebron is limited or unavailable.

Ebron (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron previously missed three games this season due to a knee injury, but his ability to practice in some capacity Wednesday dampens some of the uncertainty surrounding his imminent availability. Still, his status should be watched closely as the week goes on to ensure he's trending toward active status Sunday against the Bears.

Ebron caught four of six targets for 38 yards Sunday against New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Last week, Ebron amassed a season-low zero receiving yards. This week, his 38 yards were good for second-lowest. However, owners can find solace in the fact that the third-year tight end was much more involved than he was last week when he saw just a single target.

Ebron failed to catch his only target Thursday against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron has seen at least five targets in every game this season, so his lack of involvement Thursday comes as a head-scratcher, especially in a game QB Matthew Stafford attempted 40 passes. He was on the field for the majority of the game, too. Look for the tight end to be more involved next week against the Saints.

Ebron caught three of five targets for 70 yards and rushed one time for one yard and one touchdown in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron was held in check before busting loose for a 61-yard play in the fourth quarter. He then motioned off the line and took an end-around carry on a one-yard touchdown plunge shortly thereafter, which represented the first rushing score in the young tight end's career. Going forward, notice how Ebron has seen more than five targets in over half of his games this year and look for him to be more involved next week against the Vikings, a team Ebron disected for 92 yards across seven receptions in Week 9.

Ebron corralled eight of nine targets for 92 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
For a second straight week, Ebron led the Lions in receiving. He was second only to Golden Tate in targets (12), but saw three more than the next closest receiver, Marvin Jones (5). After an injury-spotted first half of the 2016 campaign, Ebron appears to be in full form, as well as a top option for QB Matthew Stafford, entering Detroit's Week 10 bye. He may have a tough time coming out of the break, though, when he'll take on a Jaguars defense allowing the 8th-least passing yards per game.

Ebron caught seven passes for 79 yards Sunday against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Having not played since Week 4, Ebron returned to game action Sunday to post a game-high 79 receiving yards that concurrently represents the tight end's highest receiving total of the season. Unfortunately, the Lions' one-dimensional offense was unable to move the ball effectively versus the league's second-ranked passing defense. Consequently, Ebron didn't come close to sniffing the end zone. The North Carolina product projects to be a staple in Detroit's passing offense moving forward, but expectations should be tempered with a Week 9 matchup against the Vikings on deck.

Ebron (knee) is listed as active Sunday at Houston, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a three-game stretch of DNPs due to a lower right leg injury, Ebron proved his health with full practice sessions both Thursday and Friday. He may find difficulty making an impact, though, against a Texans defense that has allowed a measly 5.4 YPC and one touchdown to tight ends this season.

Ebron (knee/ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Houston, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron returned to a limited practice Wednesday, marking his first participation of any kind since Week 4. He followed that up with full sessions Thursday and Friday, providing a strong suggestion he's ready to return from a three-game absence. According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Ebron also hinted at his return after the completion of Friday's practice. Given the length of his absence, it would still be wise to check back in when inactive lists are released approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 pm. ET kickoff. With RB Theo Riddick (ankle) set to return, it appears Matt Stafford could have all his key pass catchers available, which means there will be no shortage of competition for targets.

Ebron (ankle/knee) practiced in full Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Ebron eased into the week of prep, but Thursday's uncapped session wipes away any questions about his upcoming availability. Indeed, James Palmer of NFL Network reported Thursday that Ebron is expected to be available Sunday against the Texans. Prior to his stretch of three straight DNPs, Ebron enjoyed frequent looks from Matthew Stafford, hauling in 18 of 25 passes during the first four games of the season.
