Bowe is a healthy scratch Sunday against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe will be inactive for the third straight week, confirming an earlier report that he is "entrenched" as the No. 5 receiver on the depth chart. Even Marlon Moore was activated for the contest, as he's able to make special teams contributions that Bowe cannot. It appears the Browns' $9 million man isn't much closer to carving out a regular role for himself.

Bowe is not expected to earn a spot in the Cleveland wide receiver rotation any time soon, the Akron Beacon Journal reports. "The top four guys are entrenched," head coach Mike Pettine stated.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a contract that contains $9 million in guaranteed money, Bowe has now been a healthy scratch in back-to-back weeks. It appears Travis Benjamin, Andrew Hawkins, Taylor Gabriel and Brian Hartline are firmly ahead of him on the depth chart, and even Marlon Moore may be more likely to be active on a given week due to his special teams contributions. Bowe began the 2015 season hampered by a hamstring injury, and through Week 6, has been unable to make up the lost time. On a positive note, offensive coordinator John DeFilippo did say that the team is seeing progress in Bowe, and believes they'll need the wideout at some point this season. Nonetheless, Bowe's short-term fantasy contributions should be highly limited.

Bowe is once again a healthy scratch Sunday against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe has hardly suited up this season, and when he has, it's been in a limited capacity. The 31-year-old still hasn't caught a pass this season, as Travis Benjamin, Andrew Hawkins, Brian Hartline and Taylor Gabriel all seem to be ahead of him in the pecking order for targets. There are few fantasy formats in which Bowe would be worth retaining for the remainder of the year.

Bowe is listed as inactive prior to Sunday's matchup with the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe saw some game action Week 4 against San Diego, but proved to be far down the list in the pecking order for targets under quarterback Josh McCown. Despite the big offseason contract, Bowe has been targeted just twice this season, as various injuries have limited the 6-2 wideout through the first four weeks. His absence Sunday doesn't appear to be injury-related, however, so it wouldn't be wise to expect much fantasy production from Bowe moving forward.

Bowe was not targeted in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe made the active roster for just the second time this season, but was truly a non-factor in the passing attack. He did see a few snaps, but was dominated by Travis Benjamin, Andrew Hawkins and Taylor Gabriel in terms of playing time. Even with Brian Hartline (thigh) limited in the contest, it appears the Browns preferred to go with Gabriel over their $9 million man. Even though the Browns were forced to call nearly twice as many pass plays as run plays Sunday, Bowe did not have a role, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy value moving forward.

EDGE Analysis
Bowe could end up working his way back into fantasy relevance in the coming weeks, but we'd like to see him get a full and productive outing in before recommending him as a lineup option.

Coach Mike Pettine indicated that Bowe is expected to be active Sunday against the Chargers, the Akron Beacon-Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe was inactive last Sunday against the Raiders despite not being listed on the Browns' injury report. That said, offensive coordinator John DeFilippo suggested that Bowe -- who dealt with a hamstring issue before his season debut in Week 2 -- was held out because of an injury. In any case, while Bowe could end up providing the Browns will some return on their $9 million (guaranteed) investment in time, we'd like to see the wideout get a full and productive game in before recommending him as more than a roster stash.

According to ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi, Bowe is a healthy scratch for Sunday's matchup against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Bowe wasn't listed on the Browns' Week 3 injury report, although many surrounding the situation believed that the hamstring injury that bothered him early in the year may still be lingering a bit. With no official record of that ailment, however, one must believe that the veteran wideout could have suited up had the coaching staff deemed it necessary. Instead, Josh McCown and the Browns will turn to a group of receivers led by Andrew Hawkins and Travis Benjamin.

Offensive coordinator John DeFilippo indicated Thursday that he doesn't think Bowe (hamstring) is 100 percent healthy just yet, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Bowe is not listed on the Browns' Week 3 injury report, DeFilippo suggested Thursday that the Browns might be inclined to limit Bowe for the time being in order to avoid an aggravation of the wideout's hamstring issue. With that in mind, a wait-and-see approach remains in order from a fantasy perspective, at least until Bowe turns in a productive outing in a Cleveland uniform.

Bowe saw just one target Sunday against the Titans, and failed to record a catch.
EDGE Analysis
Quarterback Johnny Manziel completed just eight passes the whole game, as the Browns were more than content to focus on running the ball and playing defense. Travis Benjamin was Manziel's target of the choice when the Browns did look downfield, leaving Bowe's role in the team's offense in question. It's possible Bowe was limited by a hamstring injury that had been bothering him all week, but it's tough to see him carving out a huge role even when at full health.
