Martin rushed 19 times for 38 yards and brought in two of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 30-20 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being given nearly 100 percent of the rushing touches once again, Martin's multi-week frustrations on the ground continued. He averaged under 3.0 yards per carry for the second straight week and fourth time in the last five contests overall. To make matters worse, the former Pro Bowler gained 13 of his 38 yards on one carry, leaving him with an average of 1.4 yards on his other 18 totes. Despite the difficult stretch Martin finds himself in, it isn't exactly clear if Jacquizz Rodgers, Charles Sims or Peyton Barber could do appreciably better behind an offensive line that's been consistently powerless to stop rushers from invading the backfield at the snap. Martin will look to bust out of his slump against the Falcons in Week 12.

Martin rushed 20 times for 51 yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
After logging a season-low eight rushes in the Week 9 loss to the Saints, Martin was back to a much more normal workload Sunday. However, he found running harm very hard to come by, leading to his third game with less than 3.0 yards per carry over the last four contests. Martin appears to be running with good burst, so a substantial part of his struggles could likely be laid at the feet of his offensive line. He'll have a chance to get his numbers up against the Dolphins in a Week 11 road tilt.

Martin rushed eight times for seven yards in Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Like the rest of his offensive teammates, Martin was woefully ineffective, and he ultimately ceded plenty of work to Peyton Barber. The Buccaneers' sizable second-half deficit also played a part in Martin's season-low amount of carries, but the fact that he was eventually supplanted by Barber may portend some forthcoming changes in the backfield pecking order. Prior to Sunday's washout, Martin had averaged no better than 3.9 yards per carry in his prior three games and hadn't scored since Week 2. It remains to be seen if Koetter will opt to split the running back touches a lot more evenly in a Week 10 home battle versus the Jets, but Martin's fantasy prospects look fairly bleak in the immediate wake of the blowout defeat.

Martin rushed 18 times for 71 yards and added a four-yard catch on two targets in Sunday's 17-3 loss to Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Martin finished three yards short of his season-best on the ground, which was a decent effort considering quarterback Jameis Winston and the passing game couldn't get anything going. Jacquizz Rodgers had just one carry and one catch, so Martin continues to serve as the clear-cut No. 1 running back in Tampa Bay regardless of game flow.

Martin rushed 20 times for 49 yards and brought in two of three targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Martin logged a season high in carries but produced a season low in rushing yards against a stingy Bills front seven. The 28-year-old did also log his best reception and receiving yardage marks over his first three contests, as he continues to serve as the clear-cut lead back for head coach Dirk Koetter. Martin will look to up his overall rushing production when the Buccaneers face off with the Panthers in a Week 8 divisional showdown.

Martin rushed 14 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and brought in one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 38-33 loss to the Cardinals. He also logged a two-point conversion rush.
EDGE Analysis
Although Martin proclaimed himself ready for more work after logging 13 carries in his Week 5 debut against the Patriots, the opportunity escaped him Sunday due to the sizable deficit the Bucs find themselves in. Martin was solid with the opportunities he saw and recorded his second touchdown in as many games when he went into the end zone from one yard out with 3:02 remaining in the game. The sixth-year pro could see a more sizable role in Week 7 versus a tough Bills defense, especially if Jameis Winston (shoulder) is unable to suit up for the contest.

Martin said he's ready to take on a bigger workload, Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com reports
EDGE Analysis
Martin impressed in his 2017 debut last Thursday against the Patriots, taking 13 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown while adding one catch for eight yards on three targets. His involvement in the passing game likely will remain limited so long as Charles Sims stays healthy, but Martin should see an uptick from last week's 36 percent snap share if the Bucs aren't forced to abandon the run Sunday in Arizona. Jacquizz Rodgers handled 13 snaps and four touches last week, but he could fall completely out of the offense as Martin regains his stamina.

Martin rushed 13 times for 74 yards and a touchdown while also hauling in one of three targets for eight yards in Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Martin's play was a high point on a night when the Bucs came maddeningly close to pulling out a victory on the last play on the contest. The sixth-year back looked rejuvenated and decisive virtually each time he carried the ball, bursting through holes with impressive speed on his way to 5.7 yards per rush. Martin notably served as the clear-cut lead back despite it being his first game of the season, leaving backfield mates Jacquizz Rodgers (three carries) and Charles Sims (one carry) in the dust in terms of opportunity. Having proven his readiness to handle a starter's workload Thursday, Martin should be all systems go for the Week 6 road tilt against the Cardinals.

Martin is listed as active Thursday against the Patriots, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Martin will be making his season debut after completing a four-game suspension for a violation of the policy on substances of abuse. No matter, there's no telling what kind of workload he'll handle, especially due to the success of Jacquizz Rodgers in the first three games. Overall, Rodgers took 40 carries for 165 yards and one touchdown, so a timeshare of sorts may dominate until a hot hand emerges between the duo. Either way, Martin is poised for his first touches since Week 15 of last season.

The Buccaneers activated Martin on Monday after his four-game suspension concluded following Sunday's win over the Giants, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Martin is expected to suit up in the Bucs' Week 5 contest against the Patriots, but it's unclear what kind of role he'll hold for the team right off the bat. Though Jacquizz Rodgers has performed unevenly as the team's starting running back in the Buccaneers' first three games and is averaging 4.1 yards on 40 carries, the limited prep time for the Thursday night game could prompt coach Dirk Koetter to proceed with Rodgers as the lead back for the time being rather than turning to Martin for those duties. The team waived tight end Alan Cross to make room on the 53-man roster for Martin.
