Head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that Baldwin (ankle) will be able to play Sunday against the Steelers, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin sustained what Carroll deemed a "minor" ankle injury during Sunday's demolition of the 49ers, but it didn't stop him from hauling in all six of his targets for 60 yards. While Baldwin's activity level in practice this week will be of interest, Carroll's comments imply that there isn't much worry with the Seahawks No. 1 wideout.

Baldwin injured his ankle during Sunday's win over the 49ers, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer's Stephen Cohen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin was listed as probable due to a toe injury, and he finished with six catches for 60 yards. He didn't exit the game early, despite taking a huge hit from 49ers safety Eric Reid during the first quarter. It's unclear if the injury was related to that play or suffered later in the game.

Baldwin (toe) caught all six of this targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 29-13 win over the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin, who was coming off his best game of the season in Week 10, showed nice after-the-catch skills on several of his receptions Sunday. Meanwhile, rookie Tyler Lockett had a mini breakout Sunday, catching a pair of touchdowns. It's hard to get too excited about Baldwin or any other Seahawks' pass catcher, given the inconsistency of their offensive line and QB Russell Wilson, who threw more than two touchdown passes for the first time this season in Sunday's win. However, Baldwin could find success next week against Pittsburgh, which has not defended opposing WRs well this year.

Baldwin (toe) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option of late, but he's out there Sunday if you need him, coming off a seven-catch, 134-yard effort in Week 10's loss to the Cardinals.

Baldwin (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin sat out Wednesday's practice, but head coach Pete Carroll said the team was merely being cautious. Following a limited session Thursday and full session Friday, Baldwin should be fine to occupy his usual role, though targets may be tough to come by during a game in which the Seahawks are heavily favored.

Baldwin (toe) returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin came out of Week 10 with a sore toe, but head coach Pete Carroll said the wideout will be fine for Sunday's game against the 49ers, and a Thursday return to practice seemingly supports that notion. Although he's on track to play, Baldwin is unlikely to get the kind of volume that led to his best game this season on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Baldwin (toe) didn't practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. "Doug Baldwin's got a sore toe, so we're taking advantage of resting him a couple days," said head coach Pete Carroll. "But he's going to be fine to make it."
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin didn't uphold Carroll's expectation that he would be limited in drills, but the wide receiver can be expected to return at some point before week's end. If he fails to do so, owners shouldn't fret, as Carroll believes that Baldwin will available Sunday against the 49ers. Friday's injury report could ultimately provide the green light needed to trust Baldwin for fantasy purposes.

Baldwin (toe) will be a limited practice participant Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Placing a cap on Baldwin's practice reps is merely a precaution, as head coach Pete Carroll expects the wideout to suit up in Week 11 versus the 49ers. Baldwin is coming off his most stat-laden line of the season -- seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 134 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Cardinals -- which he could replicate versus a San Francisco defense that has allowed 14.8 YPC and nine touchdowns to wide receivers in 2015.

Baldwin caught seven passes for 134 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Sunday's 39-32 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Baldwin and Jimmy Graham were the only Seahawks with more than two targets or one reception. Graham did little with his eight targets and was largely unimpressive, whereas Baldwin was easily the team's best player, turning in his finest game of the season. There may be a few more strong showings in the works if the Seahawks find themselves playing from behind, but one good game doesn't erase the preceding three-week stretch in which Baldwin caught just eight passes for 77 yards on 13 targets.

Baldwin caught three passes off of six targets for 35 yards in Sunday's win over Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
The six targets were Baldwin's most since Week 2 and he remains second on the team behind tight end Jimmy Graham in a variety of categories including targets, catches and receiving yards. Baldwin has been nothing if not consistent, catching three pass in five of his past six games, but that is hardly the kind of production that warrants fantasy starts. With Graham leading the way and rookie Tyler Lockett making a name for himself, it is hard to see Baldwin's role expanding too much week to week as there simply aren't enough passes to go around. The Seahawks have attempted the third fewest throws per game in the league this season.
