Bold Predictions for 2018 Fantasy Football - Justin Carter rotoballer.com Sun 9/2/18 4:55 AM
When our lead editor, Pierre Camus, asked me to contribute to this year's bold predictions, I was extremely excited. If there's one thing I am very good at it's making bold predictions, although I'm not as good at the whole "having those predictions come true" part.
I've got five bold predictions for you today. Will all five end up panning out? Of course not! But I have reasons why I believe in all five of these things and when the season ends I'll be very, very sad if I don't hit on at least[...]

My job is to make sure you are up to date and not reaching on certain players, so I have tracked all of the significant risers and fallers since exactly one week ago.
Here is a position-by-position breakdown of the top movers in terms of draft position just before the season begins.
All ADP data is taken from Fantasy Football Calculator.

Doug Baldwin's Knee Will Be An Issue All Year rotoballer.com Tue 8/28/18 11:57 AM
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) said he's at 80 to 85 percent health right now and that his knee injury is something he'll have to deal with all year. It's not something his fantasy owners want to hear at all. It appears Baldwin will be able to suit up for Week 1 in a tough matchup against the Broncos, but he won't be a recommended DFS play there. Baldwin is a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 target with plenty of risk this year.
Doug Baldwin Close To Full Participation rotoballer.com Mon 8/27/18 12:29 PM
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) did some individual work off to the side in practice on Monday, and he's clearly close to full activities. There was initially some skepticism about whether Baldwin would be ready for Week 1 against the Broncos, but it looks like he's made enough progress to be ready. The 29-year-old has two 1,000-yard receiving seasons to his name and nearly reached the mark for the third straight year in 2017. He's Seattle's top wideout and is a low-end [...]
Seahawks Wideout Picture Clearing Up rotoballer.com Mon 8/27/18 12:36 AM
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tanner McEvoy was waived over the weekend, which likely means wideouts David Moore and perhaps Keenan Reynolds have taken a step closer toward making the 53-man roster. It also might signal that Doug Baldwin (knee) is healthy and will be ready for the regular season opener. Tyler Lockett, Jaron Brown and perhaps Brandon Marshall also might be on pace to make the final roster, with Moore filling the role previously held by McEvoy. He'll likely see a role on special [...]
Jaron Brown (WR, SEA) - 2018 Fantasy Football Draft Sleeper rotoballer.com Tue 8/21/18 6:39 AM
BALLER MOVE: Target ~250
CURRENT ADP: ~310
ANALYSIS: While the name certainly is not one of the sexier ones, Jaron Brown joins a Seattle offense that's starved for offensive firepower having lost both Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham to free agency. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 35 touchdowns in 2017, with 16 of them going to Graham and Richardson, so the opportunity for Jaron Brown to flourish in the red zone will certainly be there.
Brown ranked third in the league in 2[...]
Under-the-Radar Route Runners To Target Late rotoballer.com Tue 8/21/18 4:58 AM
Often times, what draws spectators and fantasy enthusiasts to a wide receiver is their size, their speed, their ability to reach over defenders and snatch balls out of the air, and their ability to score touchdowns. That's all well and good, but rarely do we look at what makes a wide receiver truly special -; their ability to run routes.
Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney once said the wide receiver position is one of the worst-coached in football because you just can't teach efficiency, [...]
Paul Richardson (WR, WAS) - 2018 Fantasy Football Draft Sleeper rotoballer.com Sun 8/19/18 8:35 AM
BALLER MOVE: Target ~160
CURRENT ADP: ~165
ANALYSIS: Washington Redskins wide receiver Paul Richardson is a burner. Now calling Washington home, Richardson will be on the receiving end of Alex Smith's passes. Hence, fantasy owners will instantly make the Tyreek Hill comparison. Obviously, Washington is not Kansas City, so we cannot simply pencil Richardson in for the 1,183 yards and seven receiving TDs Hill put up with Smith a season ago. However, we can look at his 1.33 fantasy points [...]
Wide Receiver Stat Sleepers - Fantasy Points Per Target rotoballer.com Sun 8/19/18 4:30 AM
How much value to place on targets is one of the biggest problems fantasy owners face when it comes to evaluating wide receivers. The logical assumption is that you can't catch a ball that isn't thrown your direction; meaning more targets equal more opportunities to produce. But, go ask Demaryius Thomas owners how that worked out for him last season. Despite seeing 140 targets (10th most in the league) Thomas finished 23rd at the receiver position in fantasy points (16th in PPR scoring). Meanw[...]
