Freeman had six carries for 13 yards and caught 2-of-3 targets for three yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Panthers. Freeman and the entire Falcons' offense laid an egg in what was essentially a playoff game. The rookie RB showed some minor flashes this season, including a nice 31-yard touchdown in Week 16, but was mainly an afterthought in the team's offense. It wouldn't be surprising to see Freeman take on a bigger role next season, however, as Steven Jackson will turn 32 years old this summer.

Freeman is on track for an expanded workload Sunday against the Panthers, if Steven Jackson (quadriceps) is held out, as expected, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Through two practices this week, Jackson has yet to participate, providing credence to the thought that Freeman could experience the most work of his rookie season. If his past two contests are any indication -- nine carries for 57 yards (6.3 YPC), including a 31-yard touchdown, and four catches (on six targets) for 57 yards -- Freeman could be a sneaky play against a Carolina defense that has given up 4.7 YPC to running backs in the last four games.

Freeman had five carries for 36 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as three catches on four targets for 48 receiving yards during Sunday's win over the Saints. A majority of Freeman's fantasy production came on a 31-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, as he got a few extra touches after Steven Jackson was forced out of the game in the second quarter because of a quad injury. Jacquizz Rodgers led the team with 11 carries, but he gained only 29 yards. The severity of Jackson's injury is still to be determined, but if he is unable to play in Week 17 against the Panthers, Freeman figures to see an increase in usage again, though Rodgers is likely to get the start.

Freeman lost two yards on two carries, with 10 yards on two receptions, in Monday's 43-37 loss to the Packers. Steven Jackson had 18 touches (two receptions) for 76 yards and a touchdown, with Jacquizz Rodgers adding 34 yards on four touches (one reception). Rodgers and Freeman had fairly equal roles Monday night, but Freeman has generally been getting more touches for the last few weeks.

Freeman had eight carries for 26 yards and caught his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 29-18 win over the Cardinals. Other than a 19-yard run, Freeman was held in check, while Steven Jackson had his best rushing game as a member of the Falcons, rumbling for 101 yards on 18 carries. The rookie RB has some upside, but his production will probably be limited due to the presence of Jackson. In Week 14, Freeman will face the Packers on the road.

Freeman rushed for 28 yards on six carries in Sunday's win over the Panthers. The six carries represented his second highest workload of the season, trailing only Week 3 when he carried the rock 11 times against the Saints. While that's encouraging, he failed to haul in a pass against the Panthers, snapping a nine game reception streak. Although he'll likely only receive a few carries per usual, Freeman has a nice matchup Week 11 against Cleveland, who ranks 31st in rush defense.

Freeman rushed three times for 16 yards in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. He also caught one ball, but it went for negative yards. Freeman simply isn't getting enough touches to merit a fantasy start in most leagues. It appears it will take an injury to Steven Jackson to make him a viable option.

Freeman rushed three times for five yards, but also caught a seven-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's loss to the Lions. Freeman opened the scoring Sunday with his first career touchdown, which happened to come through the air. Besides that first quarter score, Freeman offered very little else. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that fellow running back Antone Smith suffered a neck injury Sunday, which could impact Freeman's usage going forward.

Freeman tallied 37 total yards in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. Freeman had some moderate value in PPR leagues as he hauled in five balls for 17 yards and added 20 yards on two rushes, but the Falcons are simply too committed to the pass for Freeman to get an ample amount of work in the running game. The Falcons were the only team to have above a 2:1 pass-run ratio last year, and their 44 passes to 15 running back runs in this one show they've strayed little from that path.

Freeman caught two balls for 26 yards in Sunday's loss to the Bears. The Falcons once again relied too heavily on the pass, as they had had a pass-run ratio of 3:1 if you don't count Matt Ryan's lone scramble. Freeman only tallied two carries for five yards, but he proved mildly effective as a pass catcher, as his two receptions went for 14 and 12 yards. His limited touches will continue to hinder his upside, especially if Antone Smith continues to shine catching the ball out of the backfield.
