Washington (hamstring) is participating in practice Friday, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington's hamstring injury caused him to miss back-to-back practices to begin the week, but it looks like he'll get in at least limited activity Friday. With Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) absent and Myles Gaskin (knee) not yet off IR, it's possible that Washington could handle a notable role Week 13 as long as he's healthy.

Washington (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Washington -- who recorded a team-high 13 carries in Week 12 against the Jets -- has logged back-to-back practice absences, Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) worked in a limited fashion once again Thursday and Myles Gaskin (knee) could potentially return from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. At a minimum, look for added clarity on the status of both Ahmed and Washington once Friday's injury report is posted.

Washington didn't practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington likely picked up the injury in Sunday's win over the Jets, during which he led Miami's backfield with 13 carries. With Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) practicing in a limited fashion Wednesday and Myles Gaskin (knee) perhaps on track to return from injured reserve ahead of this weekend's game against the Bengals, Washington may be relegated to a depth role if he moves past the hamstring issue.

Washington isn't present for the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington led an injury-decimated Miami backfield in the team's Week 12 win over the Jets, but he appears to have come out of that contest with an injury of his own. On a positive note for the team, Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) returned to practice Wednesday, and Myles Gaskin (knee) appears to be inching toward a return from injured reserve.

Washington had 13 carries for 49 yards during Sunday's 20-3 win over the Jets. He also hauled in two of five targets for 11 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Washington got an opportunity to lead Miami's backfield with both Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) and Myles Gaskin (knee) out, and he saw five more carries than co-starter Matt Breida. The former Chiefs running back wasn't able to do much in his opportunities, however, as he averaged just 3.8 yards per carry and failed to reach the end zone. If either Ahmed or Gaskin are able to return Week 13 against the Bengals, Washington will stand to revert to a depth role.

Washington (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 11 matchup against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The recent trade acquisition logged just four offensive snaps in his team debut Week 10 against the Chargers, and with Matt Breida returning from a hamstring injury Sunday, Washington will revert to inactive status. The former Raider and Chief next will have a chance to suit up in a Week 12 matchup against the Jets.

Washington had two carries for two yards during Sunday's 29-21 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Washington only handled four offensive snaps in his first action as a Dolphin. Following the team's decision to waive Jordan Howard, it's possible that Washington sees more opportunities Week 11, but he currently seems to be firmly behind both Matt Breida (hamstring) and Salvon Ahmed on the depth chart.

Washington will have a chance to potentially serve as the Dolphins' No. 2 running back behind Salvon Ahmed in Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Chargers with Matt Breida (hamstring), Jordan Howard (coach's decision) and Lynn Bowden (coach's decision) all inactive.
EDGE Analysis
Washington was acquired at the trade deadline from the Chiefs and first had to undergo mandatory COVID-19 protocols to be eligible to practice and subsequently play. With all clearances now under his belt and multiple backfield mates out of action Sunday, he seems to have a legitimate opportunity to work as a complementary/change-of-pace option next to Ahmed on Sunday, facing a Chargers defense that's given up a robust 53-321-3 line through the air to running backs. Washington has only four touches all season, but he just turned in a career-best 36-292-0 line as a receiver out of the backfield for the Raiders in 2019.

Washington was lifted from the commissioner's exempt list Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington was dealt from the Chiefs to the Dolphins on Tuesday, but he wasn't eligible to play in Week 9 while on the commissioner's exempt list. He'll be allowed to practice with the team and potentially suit up for Week 10 against the Chargers.

Washington will not be eligible to play for the Dolphins until at least Week 10 due to COVID-19 protocols, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Washington, who was traded by the Chiefs on Tuesday, won't have a chance to make his debut for the Dolphins until Nov. 15 against the Chargers at the earliest. With Myles Gaskin (knee) on IR and Matt Breida (hamstring) not practicing, that could leave Miami with a backfield combination of Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird, Lynn Bowden and Salvon Ahmed during Sunday's game in Arizona.
