Woodhead (ankle) is expected to be healthy for training camp, Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Woodhead sprained his ankle during the second-to-last day of minicamp, but was able to walk off under his own power. Considering Melvin Gordon may need some time to get his feet underneath him following offseason microfracture knee surgery, the 32-year-old running back is expected to be one of the main weapons for the Chargers, particularly in third down and no-huddle situations.

Woodhead suffered an ankle injury during Wednesday's minicamp, per ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
During team drills, Woodhead appeared to get tangled up with an offensive lineman and fall to the ground with a left ankle injury. Fortunately, Woodhead was subsequently observed walking off the field on his own strength. The injury isn't expected to be serious, but he should be considered questionable for San Diego's final day of minicamp. Woodhead's status for training camp doesn't appear to be in any jeopardy, though.

Woodhead gained 11 yards on five carries and secured eight of 10 targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
One week after gaining five yards per carry against the Raiders, Woodhead struggled to find any running room against a stout Broncos front. He also recorded eight catches for the second straight week, and managed at least 50 yards receiving in each of the season's last three games. With 2015 first-round pick Melvin Gordon having significantly underwhelmed in his first season, Woodhead proved to be a invaluable component of the Chargers running game and to an even greater extent, their short-range passing attack. His pass-catching prowess allowed San Diego to often replace an absymal ground attack with short throws to Woodhead that were both safe and often productive. The eight-year veteran received a career-high 96 targets and equaled a career-best six receiving touchdowns. Under contract through the end of next season, Woodhead figures to once again be an important component of the Chargers' offensive attack in 2016.

Woodhead rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries and caught eight of his 10 targets for 53 yards in Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss against the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
It would have been very unlikely for Woodhead to match his production from Week 15, but he still had a very productive night, despite not getting in the end zone. Donald Brown led the team with 14 carries, but he amassed just 17 yards while getting the lone score on the ground. Woodhead should once again be very involved in the Chargers rushing and passing attacks in next week's season finale in Denver.

Woodhead gained 10 yards on eight carries and had a rushing touchdown, while securing all six of his targets for fifty yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 30-14 victory over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
After just one touchdown over the last six weeks, Woodhead exploded with what may have been his best overall game of the season. The Dolphins appeared to have no answer for Woodhead through the air, with his three touchdown receptions representing a career-high for the eight-year veteran. While he typically provides next to nothing on the ground, Woodhead has now posted at least six receptions in five games this season, and has tallied nine total touchdowns in 2015. Backfield mate Melvin Gordon's knee injury is not likely to increase Woodhead's workload even if the rookie misses time, as the his role as a pass-catching specialist figures to remain unchanged regardless of the rookie's status.

Woodhead rushed three times for five yards and caught three passes on six targets for eight receiving yards Sunday against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
The Chargers got very little going offensively in the pouring rain Sunday, though Woodhead's day would have been much different had he caught a pass in the end zone on the last play of the game. Unfortunately, it fell incomplete, like most of quarterback Philip Rivers' passes Sunday, and Woodhead has now gone four straight games without a touchdown, while his last rushing score came back in Week 1 when he scored twice against the Lions. Up next is a Week 15 matchup against a Dolphins defense allowing the third-most rushing yards per game this season.

Woodhead had three rushes for 10 yard and three receptions (on seven targets) for 24 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Woodhead has been generally disappointing in four of his last five games, and the Chargers offense overall is really struggling against the better teams in the league. Next week, the Bolts will be up against a Chiefs team that held Woodhead to just 16 total yards in Week 11,

Woodhead had four carries for eight yards and caught all six of the passes thrown his way for 39 yards in Sunday's win at Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
This was another rather slow game for Woodhead despite the fact that the offense had a much better showing overall. With Melvin Gordon getting the bulk of the rushing attempts each week, Woodhead usually does his best work on receptions out of the backfield, but he only has 48 receiving yards over the last two games and has only scored one touchdown in the month of November. Still, Woodhead has been averaging 11 total touches per game and is a safe bet to continue producing at about that level going forward.

Woodhead had six carries for seven yards and one reception (on two targets) for nine yards in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
This was a dreadful game for the entire Chargers offense, and Woodhead was no exception. The 16 total yards were by far his lowest total of the season. He will look to bounce back next week against the Jaguars.

Woodhead rushed six times for 33 yards and caught six passes (on 10 targets) for 78 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Woodhead led the Chargers in both rushing and receiving Monday night, fueling an otherwise depleted offense. Like most weeks, Woodhead played second fiddle in terms of touches to rookie Melvin Gordon in the running game, but managed to excel as a target out of the backfield, catching a 14-yard touchdown early in Monday's contest. That marked Woodhead's fifth score of this season, bolstering his already impressive PPR value that now features 45 catches and 751 all-purpose yards through nine games played.
