Lions DT Corey Williams and WR Nate Burleson are candidates to be released or restructured, suggests the Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett. Williams is due $5 million and Burleson $4 million. GM Martin Mayhew suggested last month that Burleson's roster spot was safe, but the decisions are going to get tougher if the Lions can't get Calvin Johnson to reduce his $21 million cap number by agreeing to an extension. Turning 32 in August, Williams could be replaced by Nick Fairley.
