Linsley (ankle) was cleared to practice for the beginning of training camp on Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Linsley had surgery on his ankle in March and ended up facing a much longer recovery than initially thought. He'll now enter camp as the Packers starting center after last years starter, JC Tretter, signed with the Browns in the offseason. If Linsley is limited at all early in camp, look for the team's sixth-round pick, Kofi Amiachia, to see some extra snaps.

Linsley (ankle) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Packers coach Mike McCarthy expects Linsley, who has yet to practice after undergoing offseason ankle injury, be a participant during the early stages of training camp in late July. Sixth-round pick Kofi Amichia would be in line for additional reps if Linsley is sidelined throughout camp.

Linsley (ankle) isn't certain to be ready in time for training camp, Alex Vandenhouten of The La Crosse Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Linsley, who underwent offseason ankle surgery, was expected to be back in action by the middle of May. While it doesn't appear as if he suffered any kind of setback, the Ohio State product reportedly has a "long ways" to go before he'll be ready to play. In his absence, Don Barclay has been rolling with the first-team offense at center.

Linsley underwent offseason ankle surgery and is expected back in mid-May, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Linsley's surgery was reportedly to cleanup loose particles that were lingering from a 2015 high ankle sprain. Though he's expected to be healthy sometime in May, the Packers may choose to hold him out until training camp to avoid risk of reinjury. Linsley missed the first half of the 2016 season due to a hamstring injury and the Packers will hope to have him ready Week 1 in 2017.

Linsley (hamstring) has been activated from the PUP list and will start at center in Sunday's contest against the Colts, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
With starting center J.C. Tretter out several weeks with a sprained MCL, Linsley will be immediately thrust into action as the Packers' starting center. Don Barclay will back Linsley up.

Linsley (hamstring) has been practicing for two weeks and declared himself ready to play, the Milwaukee Journel Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Linsley currently resides on the Packers' PUP list but is eligible to be removed at any time. However, with fellow center JC Tretter having suffered a knee injury during Sunday's matchup with the Falcons, Linsley may not wait long before joining the active roster.

The Packers have placed Linsley (undisclosed) on the PUP list to begin training camp, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Linsley missed the entirety of Green Bay's offseason program with an injury he himself has refused to comment upon, and although he proclaimed he'd be ready for the start of training camp, team doctors have the final say as to when Linsley can resume practicing. His Week 1 availability doesn't appear to be jeopardy, but J.C. Tretter will be the next man up in the event that Linsley can't play.

Packers signed No. 161 overall pick C Corey Linsley to a four-year contract. An All-Big 10 selection as a senior, Linsley (6-foot-3, 296 pounds) showed impressive athleticism at his Pro Day, clocking a 5.03 40-yard dash to go along with an 8-foot-11 broad jump and 27-inch vertical. Although he's under-sized, Linsley could develop into a quality zone-scheme center. He needs to bulk up.
