Brown left Sunday's game against the Saints with a right shoulder injury and is questionable to return, the Charlotte Observer's Jonathan Jones reports. Given the shockingly lopsided score, Brown probably won't return, leading to extra reps for DeAndre Presley. Brown had three catches for 42 yards before departing.

Brown (illness) is listed as active Sunday at Minnesota. Brown has been earmarked for increased usage by coach Ron Rivera, who would like to expand the rookie's workload. Nonetheless, until Rivera's wish is granted, Brown will serve as a project and not much more in the Panthers' passing game.

Head coach Ron Rivera said Tuesday that the Panthers "need to get (Brown) on the field (more)." Brown has just 12 receptions for 160 yards on the season, but he caught a long touchdown pass last week and also returned a punt for a touchdown earlier this season, so he is making his presence felt. The Panthers released fellow receiver Jason Avant on Tuesday, which should help Rivera achieve his goal of giving Brown more opportunities to make plays moving forward.

Brown hauled in a 47-yard touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Falcons. Brown's long touchdown strike was his only catch of Sunday's game, but the score marked the rookie's first career touchdown and also put the Panthers ahead mid-way through the fourth quarter. Nonetheless, the shifty slot receiver's fantasy value remains quite obscure, since Brown boasts just 12 receptions (on 17 targets) for 160 yards all season.

Brown (concussion) is inactive for Monday's game against the Eagles, the Charlotte Observer reports. With Brown inactive, Brenton Bersin is in line to handle return duties once again on Monday, with Brown a candidate to return to the mix in Week 11 against the Falcons.

Brown (concussion) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Eagles, the Panthers' official site reports. Brown thus appears on track to be available this week, though in his role as a depth wideout/returner, he a break or two away from fantasy relevance.

Brown (concussion) will not play Sunday against Seattle, the Charlotte Observer's Jonathan Jones reports. Brown has still not been cleared to play after suffering a concussion in last week's loss to Green Bay. With just 11 receptions this season, he is not a significant part of the offense; the Panthers will miss him more as a return man.

Brown has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game due to a concussion, the Charlotte Observer reports. Brown was limited to punt and kickoff returns prior to exiting Sunday's game. Although he's not a reliable part of the Panthers' offense, Brown's absence creates a more clear path for Brenton Bersin to receive spare targets.

Brown rushed twice for 22 yards, caught one pass for four yards and returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown during Sunday's 31-24 win over the Bears. Brown's biggest contribution of the day came on a heads-up punt return, when he was tackled prior to fielding the ball, but then got up, collected the ball, and ran 79 yards for a touchdown. Besides that unusual score, the Panthers made use of Brown's open field ability with a couple of designed running plays Sunday. Nonetheless, the rookie's fantasy value best translates to leagues that reward return yards.

Brown made two catches (on four targets) for 35 yards Sunday against the Ravens. Brown role in the Panthers' offense was reduced Sunday by the return of No. 2 wideout Jerricho Cotchery from injury. Nonetheless, it appears Brown is currently jockeying with veteran Jason Avant to earn No. 3 receiver looks and Brown has outperformed Avant in two straight games now. A shifty, smaller player, Brown offers the Panthers' offense something unique in their passing game, although his fantasy value remains very limited.
