Brown caught three of four targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The touchdown ended a scoreless streak that dated back to Week 9 for Brown, who had missed two games since then due to injury. In his three games since returning, Brown has eased back into the relatively modest production he was accustomed to earlier this season, three or so catches a game and an occassional touchdown. While the Panthers offense has taken off as of late, Brown has not seen corresponding production as he appears to have slid down to fourth on the pecking order. In the last three weeks, Brown's 14 targets rank behind Ted Ginn, 28, Greg Olsen, 24, and rookie Devin Funchess 15.

Brown caught three of his team-leading six targets for 59 yards, and added a nine-yard carry in Sunday's blowout win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Brown's 59 receiving yards marked a season high, but the increased attention he received was probably just a product of the game's blowout nature. Hopefully the second-year receiver is able to carry his momentum from this game over to next week's tilt against a beatable Giants secondary.

Brown (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday in New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
Back in action following a two-game absence, Brown's return ensures a full complement of receivers for Cam Newton in Week 13. Brown will attempt to join the multitude of wideouts that have reached the end zone to the tune of 16 touchdowns this season.

Brown (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Brown practiced fully Friday for the third day in a row, which puts him on track to return to action this week after sitting out the last two games. Brown was starting to come on prior to the injury, finding the end zone in both Weeks 8 and 9, but he tallied just one catch for eight yards in the last game he suited up for in Week 10. He and the rest of the Panthers receivers have a ripe matchup this week against a Saints team that has allowed a league-high 30 touchdown passes this season.

Brown (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With an uninhibited practice under his belt, it appears as if Brown's two-game absence will come to an end Sunday in New Orleans. While he was sidelined, though, Devin Funchess was a consistent target of Cam Newton, receiving 12 targets in all. As a result, Brown could be relegated to the third or fourth receiver in a balanced Panthers offense.

Brown (shoulder) is on target to return for Sunday's game against the Saints, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Limited in practice last week, Brown is back on the practice field Tuesday afternoon. If he's able to get in a full practice by the end of the week, he should be fine for Sunday's fantastic matchup. However, with rookie Devin Funchess coming on strong in recent weeks, Brown may see even fewer targets than he did before getting injured.

Brown (shoulder) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
With Brown still sidelined, the Panthers' Week 12 wideout corps is in line to be headed by Devin Funchess, Ted Ginn and Jerricho Cotchery.

Brown (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game in Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Limited in practice all week, Brown didn't signal whether his DNP streak will stop at one game or extend to two. However, active status may not yield much fruit, as his absence this past Sunday allowed rookie Devin Funchess to make his most significant impact as a professional. At best, Brown is the third option in the Panthers' 28th-ranked passing attack.

Brown (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's injury report, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he was contained to one limited practice last week, Brown received an inactive designation Sunday against Washington, and Cam Newton proceeded to have a career performance, tossing touchdown passes to five different receivers. Among those was rookie Devin Funchess, who turned eight targets into four receptions for 64 yards on a career-high snap count. If Brown returns to action Thursday in Dallas, he may have to operate under a reduction in his own snaps.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is not optimistic that Brown (shoulder) will return for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Carolina offense didn't miss a beat in Brown's absence, with rookie Devin Funchess setting career-high marks for snaps, receptions and targets. Even if Brown does end up playing in Thursday's game, there's a decent chance he's fallen behind his rookie teammate in the wideout pecking order.
